Julie D’Alessandro is a certified Voice Teacher and is the owner and operator of D’Alessandro Vocal Studio in Boston.

The Board of Directors of the International Voice Teachers of Mix is proud to certify to all that Julie D’Alessandro has been accredited by this organization as a Teacher of Mix Singing Technique and is a member in good standing.

In 2014, Julie was accepted as an accredited voice teacher into the International Voice Teachers of Mix (IVTOM) by President, Dean Kaelin. Through IVTOM, Julie studies alongside medical professionals and professional voice teachers who are changing the way we think about and execute voice lessons, through a constant flood of new information and through the practice of vocal exercises that are grounded in science.

She is also the Voice Teacher/Vocal Coach for Beyond the 4th Wall Mayor’s program in Cambridge, MA; set to open a virtual variety show, July 2020.  Julie is an Emmanuel College graduate in English Communications/Vocal Performance and Musical Theatre where she performed leading roles, such as Ado Annie Carnes in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!

Julie most recently appeared as April in Stephen Sondheim’s Company; which opened in June 2014 at The Footlight Club in Boston, MA.  It was for her role as April in Company (2007) that Julie was nominated for an Irene Ryan and went on to perform at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.

Julie also donates her time to the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston where she has been a Big Sister for the past 10 + years.

Using piano as her accompaniment, Julie shares her music and the art of singing with the world and helps others to do the same.
